For our Pay It Forward this month, we are offering this 5.5" Maple Burl Damascus Petty in support of Lydia’s Place in Athens, Georgia. Lydia’s Place supports young adults who have experienced foster care or homelessness as these young people are transitioning to independent living. Lydia’s Place provides housing assistance, life skills training, mentorship, basic necessities (like toiletries and clothes) - basically a safety net and support system for young people who need it as they move from foster care to living on their own - either going to college or working in the community.

If you are selected, you will have 24 hours to send us your shipping address, and we encourage you to make an undisclosed donation to the Lydia’s Place - any amount that fits your budget. Even if you aren’t selected in our Pay It Forward, consider donating to support kids aging out of foster care and moving toward housing stability as young adults!

Our Pay It Forward offerings are our attempt to get knives to our customers who may have more restricted budgets (but anyone may participate!) and also give back to our community. Thank you for helping us do this!
