Today’s Pay It Forward Giveaway benefits the Athens Area Homeless Shelter, an organization that provides services to homeless families working toward sustainable independence in our area.

In 2022, AAHS sheltered or housed 171 children and their families and provided crisis triage and referral to over 900 community members. They are currently sheltering or housing 70 children and their families. Athens, Georgia is in the middle of an affordable housing crisis and has had a high poverty rate for many years, and Athens Area Homeless Shelter is an essential organization in our town. We also ask that you make an undisclosed donation to Athens Area Homeless Shelter - any amount that fits your budget. Our Pay It Forward Giveaways are our attempt to get knives to our customers who may have more restricted budgets (but anyone may participate!) and also give back to our community.
