Today’s Pay It Forward giveaway benefits Project Safe, a non-profit organization that is working to end domestic violence in our surrounding counties and throughout Georgia
Project Safe offers a 24-hour hotline and teen textline (Hotline: 706-543-3331 Teen Textline: 706-765-8019) for any person experiencing domestic violence. They run a confidentially located emergency shelter serving people of any gender identity who are experiencing domestic violence. The trained shelter staff provide support to the residents at the shelter through individual advocacy meetings, house meetings, and support groups. Project Safe also provide outreach for people who may not need confidential housing but still need support in leaving abusive relationships. This outreach connects individuals to community and legal advocacy. Project Safe is an incredibly important resource in our town. If you would like to donate to them, you can do so here.

We will select a name at random from the entries tomorrow at noon EST and we will contact the selected participant via email. If you are selected, you can make a donation of any amount to Project Safe - whatever fits your budget. We won’t confirm or ask for the amount of your donation - total honor system. Once you send us your shipping address, we will ship you the knife as a thank you for your donation of any amount to Project Safe.
